The Plight of Guys

The People of Mars in Modern City
Prisoners of the Stoic Deity
Their hearts
Sacrificial objects for the Demon of Masculinity
Their tears
Once blessings of emotional relief
Now cursed flaws of maturity
For it now dont attract the angels of sympathy
But the heartless ghouls of scorn and incredulity

The People of Mars in Modern City
Comes to Venus in search of liberty
But they were shocked to know
They had to navigate
The minefields of social hypocrisy
The dungeons of unfavourable scrutiny
And the catacombs of ancient chauvinism
For should they fail at the slightest bit
They will plunge into the chasm of rejection
Where monsters will eat up the remains of their dignity

The People of Mars in Modern City
Gentlemen in broad daylight
But ferocious werewolves in dark night
For they all howl at the full moon of lust
Eager to devour any female's virginity.

The Youth of Students

Oh the People of High School today
Always claiming to be victims of circumstances
Demands more welfare to be done for them
Expects society to cater to their lifestyles
Hopes others to understand their aspirations
But they usually forget what others will enquire of them
And that is: "What have you done to deserve all that?"

Always complaining of having many problems
While strangely oblivious to the plight of others
Outrageously riduicules and disrepects teachers
But expects them to grade them fairly
Thursts projects and deadlines to more mature peers
Yet ostracizes and deems them as misfit nerds
Unfairly gets elected into presidency through popularity
But does nothing productive for the committee
Surprisingly obedient to the hip culture of modernity
While unaware that money is what modernity wants out of them
Undeservingly gets into lots of relationships
Always telling others of their purported greatness
When in fact they are mere ungrateful brats

Oh the People of High School today
When would you start growing up and thinking less of yourself
And more for others?

The Greed of Mankind

Oh the People of Modern City
Masters of technology and their own destiny
Acts classy and sociable in front of their friends
Seems polite and gracious to acquantainces
Gives professionalism to their employers
But you never did know
Beneath the mask of poise and confidence
Was a heart of insidious devilry

They were like demons in human bodies
Savagely competing for fame and success
Would bite the hands that could no longer feed
While eagerly searching to devour more

Sees the weak and the poor
As disgusting rats in the cellar
While viewing oneself as world's greatest fella
Mocks at the down-and-out with graceful flair
While defending one's unkindness with great fanfare

Treats underdogs with conceit and contempt
While showering oneself with love and romance
Quick to judge and flee at the first sign of trouble
But first to receive in the stoppage of thundering rubble

Oh the People of Modern City
Masters of technology and their own destiny
But never servants of humility and empathy.
